Five Things From: Legends of Tomorrow Season 7 episode 3, wvrdr_error_100 not found (The 100th Episode)

Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Five Things From. This time we are looking back at season 7 episode 3 of Legends of Tomorrow, the 100th episode, wvrdr_error_100<oest-of-th3-gs.gid30n> not found. Which five things stood out and for what reasons? Let’s take a closer look…

  1. 100

This episode allowed Legends of Tomorrow to celebrate the 100 episode milestone; a milestone that not too many shows get to reach. Now whether that be for better or worse, I would argue that Legends of Tomorrow has been one of (if not the) most consistent shows in the Arrowverse. It has managed to go from a rocky start to the most entertaining superhero show out there and while no longer hitting the highs as often as it used to , it manages to deal with an ever-changing ensemble cast admirably.

2. Pies

When it comes to pies there is definitely a right and wrong answer so Gideon had no idea what she was talking about on that front. And nine times out of ten, the right decision is eating the pie.

3. Bishop

I was actually surprised by the return of Bishop; the villain from last season who camps it up in a way very reminiscent to WWE Wrester Seth Freakin Rollins (look it up, I stick by it). This was the version of him before he went insanely evil…although after the events of this episode, he seems to be on the highway to crazy town anyway. Thankfully, they gave us some flashbacks as I couldn’t fully remember what happened with him in the finale but he is definitely a villain worth exploring more. After season 2 of Legends spoiled us with the All Star Legion of Doom, the show has had somewhat of a villain problem. Bishop was one of the exceptions so it was great to see him back once more.

4. The OGs

It was so good to see so many of the original Legends back for some cameo appearances. We even got Hawkman, who was much more entertaining as they were leaning into his inherent goofiness much more. Seeing the likes of Professor Stein, Jax, Ray and Captain Cold bought back so many fond memories. The best used returning character though has to be Rip. As great as it was to just see the wonderful Arthur Darvill again, they really used him to further Gideon’s character. The two of them always have great chemistry, even when Gideon is only a voice. And that final shot where Legends past and present all stood united together? Wonderful.

5. Gideon

What a clever choice to have the show focus on Gideon, who is both an original team member and the newest team member thanks to her new human body. Due to there being no current Wave Rider, there was quite the chance that we could have had no Gideon at all. Thankfully, actress Amy Pemberton gets to finally appear in the flesh for a sustained amount of time to add some new layers to the long-running AI turned human. If only Rip was still alive as I would have loved to have seen the two of them together more.
